Most incredible views from the Armadillo room! Delicious included breakfast, made fresh from the sweetest chefs! Also a beautiful view from the restaurant. The staff was the best!! So, so nice and responsive with any questions. They also give you an info guide and were so helpful with booking transport, any activities, doing laundry, etc! It’s about a 12min tuktuk ride from town, they give you a number for a tuktuk driver that you can text when you need a ride- Lino is the best ever, you can also grab one from town, it’s like $3. Great spot if you want to be close but not eight in the busy town! ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilitiesPosted on ElizabethVerified Couldn’t have had a better stay in Panajachel. This B&B was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped me set up tours and transfers before I even arrived onsite. I stayed in the Quetzal Yurt. It was spacious and clean. This yurt has the best views by far. There are two large patios on two different levels. WiFi was fast. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and there were many choices in addition to the standard breakfast which is included. We had dinner at Al Jouri restaurant which is prepared by a different chef than the women who prepare breakfast. The dinner was amazing and very reasonably priced. I also had a 90 minute massage which was fantastic. There are two adorable cats on site. Samson and Delilah. Delilah is the friendlier of the two. She is just adorable. The B&B is a short tuk tuk from shopping, restaurants and many attractions. Very easy to take the boats to other areas. The housekeeping staff cleaned the room everyday. We had our laundry washed and it was clean and folded in the same day. ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilitiesPosted on VeraVerified Staff is wonderful and very attentive, breakfast is great! Beds and pillows are super comfortable. ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilitiesPosted on DVerified We stayed in armadillo room. Rooms are staggered on the hill , our room was the highest. View is fantastic. Room was nice. Great hot water, lighting, sockets ok, small heater which was definitely needed at night. Room cleaned everyday. Staff were nice, left you alone. Resident cat was friendly. The breakfast was traditional, with a bowl of fruit. It was fine but got a little boring. Other choices you had to pay for and were a little expensive for us. The breakfast got busy and there's only two staff on , I think sometimes they need another helping hand . I would recommend this place , there's a little noise from the road but it's not bad. Tuk tuk into town is 15 Q per person. ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenitiesPosted on CyrilVerified Vue sur le lac grandiose. Tres bel etablissement. Tres bon resto. EXCELLENT Based on 203 reviews Posted on Skyler FTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed here for 1 night and had a great experience! The views are unmatched from the rooms and everyone was so friendly. The girl who runs the front desk was kind, informative, and had great recommendations. We got 2 massages and they were about 100 USD total and they were amazing. Breakfast is included, but dinner is not. You have to catch a ride from the hotel to the city each time you leave because it’s a bit far out there, but they have a tuctuc driver whose number you get to request a ride anytime which was great! It is definitely a quiet, serene place to stay, but not super convenient if you’re more into going out at night. Overall, awesome experience! Would definitely recommend.Posted on ZachTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Could not recommend Jenna’s any higher if there was an option for 6 stars I would select that. The whole experience from getting picked up by our shuttle Driver David to Adrina helping set up our trip into town and plan and execute our proposal, to the wonderful ladies working in the kitchen and Fernando making our post engagement dinner into a memory we will hold on to for a lifetime, everything was perfect. The rooms are clean and cozy, WiFi is strong and reliable, and the view is the most incredible thing I have seen in my life. Would recommend staying here 1000%.Posted on Sophia PTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. One of my favorite stays during my time in Guatemala! Not in the heart of Panajachel, which I personally appreciated - the quieter environment with Lake views was serene and relaxing. The property itself is beautiful and has so much character and charm. I loved winding down on my patio deck and just reading, enjoying the fresh air and views. I definitely felt safe as the B&B is gated. I also booked a deep tissue massage which was affordable and relaxing! I only had to walk down about 2 flights of stairs to reach my room, but heads up if you are booking a room that requires additional descent - however they do offer assistance in helping carrying luggage up/down!Posted on Karen KTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chef Jorge stole the show, incredible food and experience. He truly cares about the food he’s serving and became our friend! Such an amazing time. This place was absolutely stunning and the perfect place to stay during our time in Lake Atitlan. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our whole experience and stay was so smooth and unforgettable. You really can’t beat waking up to the view of the beautiful lake and volcanoes. Lino, the tuctuc/taxi driver was so responsive and also added to our great experience by making it so easy to get to where we need to be. Highly recommend staying here!Posted on Kate CTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic hotel on the outskirts of town, we stayed for three nights and had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and our unit was comfortable and well appointed. The resturant was fantastic, we ate dinner there twice, and the breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Overall terrific stay, would definitely recommend.Posted on Julie dTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We really enjoyed our stay there! The view is amazing. It’s also a great place and the location is close to the city. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Ask for Lino to give you rides there with his Tuktuk.Posted on Patrick DTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I only went to the Syrian restaurant (Al Jouri Kitchen): Fantastic experience! Chef Jorge’s Baba Ghanoush in particular was phenomenal (so much so that I had to personally ask what was the secret ingredient). The staff was very attentive and warm, and the environment was cozy. I’m recommending this place to all my friends.Posted on Aman STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What an absolutely amazing experience staying here! Everything from the prime location between Panajechel and Santa Catarina to the excellent service provided from Manu and the rest of the staff here was more than memorable. We enjoyed the most delicious fresh free breakfast at the restaurant and drinks from the cocktail bar every day. The massage at the spa was otherworldly!! And the best part is the two most amazing roommates Samson and Delilah, the friendliest cats that stay on the property! Other reviewers may mention outdated rooms or linen, however you don’t come here for the most modern accommodations in Guatemala. You come for it to feel like home. The attention to detail in each room and from the staff gives you everything you might need. We enjoyed massages from the amazing spa staff, were provided cheap, reliable TukTuks back and forth from whatever town we liked, and got the best priced transport back to the airport! They even had our laundry done! For any stay in Panajechel this will always be my go to. Good people, fair prices, and great vibes. Can’t ask for more! Thank you Jenna’s River B&B!

My yurt was rustic and charming with a large balcony. Enjoying the balcony in the evening was one of the highlights of my visit to Guatemala! Love the restaurant as well. The management staff really care about making the visit flawless.

We had an amazing stay and could not have asked for a better experience. The views of Lake Atitlán and the surrounding volcanoes are absolutely breathtaking. Perched on a hill, the hotel offers a peaceful, immersive setting where you can truly enjoy the area’s natural beauty, wildlife, and resources. Waking up to these views and the sounds of nature was unforgettable. This is a must-try destination for anyone seeking tranquility, stunning scenery, and a unique connection with nature. Highly recommended.Posted on José miguel SVerified Restaurant muy , muy bien Excelente cocina siria ! Nos fascinó ! Falafell y otros platos muy bien preparados, muy atenta atención del personal, July especialPosted on Relax52272796201Verified Amazing B&B With the Best Restaurant! Jenna's River B&B is a unique stay with a wonderful view! Each of the yurts is comfortable and "stacked" against the land leading down to the sea. There is also a little gem of a restaurant attached to the wonderful Jenna's River B&B. The chef is a magician. I was here for a pre-wedding Happy Hour and the next day for the wedding and dinner afterwards. The star of the Happy Hour was the fried shrimp. They were crisp and flavorful and served with the best spicy dip! The wedding meal was grand by any standard; everything was delicious, and the portions were huge. The staff was gracious and friendly, so attentive and enthusiastic. It felt more like being at someone's house than a restaurant. Short ribs, hummus, fish, salad, so many tasty dishes! The desert, and the wedding cake, was the best Dolce de Leche cake I have ever tasted. Bravo to the chef and Al Jouri Restaurant. It's worth the tuk-tuk ride there, but you won't want to leave!Posted on Sasha RVerified Gorgeous Getaway I planned a trip for my mom and I to Guatemala, it had always been a place I wanted to visit. When we arrived at Lake Atitlan we got a tuktuk to Jenna's, their What's App communication was SO HELPFUL. This boutique hotel is exactly the place you want to stay for views, food, and relaxation during your visit to Lake Atitlan. After visiting many of the towns around the lake and spending afternoons wandering through Panajachel, no other accommodation can compare. Unlimited coffee in the morning for my early-rising mom, Lino the tuktuk tour guide, and the most gorgeous view of the lake made this a trip to remember. Thank you Jenna's!Posted on SusanD326Verified Unforgettable stay in beautiful Lake Atitlan We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jenna's for a family wedding. It is a beautiful setting, very comfortable, and has an amazing on-site restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a terrific time - both Adriana and Adrina managed transport, booked massages, offered an unforgettable yoga class and were just exemplary overall. Yvan coordinated all of the details and managed many moving parts. Johnny and Allie at the bar took great care of everyone and made terrific cocktails. Norbert continued to delight us with delicious food (best fattoush I've ever had!). We had a group of 19 show up late one evening during our stay, and the kitchen staff rose to the challenge - Johnny took care of everyone - and the women in the kitchen worked late to make sure that we were well-fed. They were back early the next morning to prepare our breakfast - thank you to Lizeth, Aura, Danira, Gaby, Yolanda and Lizeth for feeding us so well over many days! We will never forget the time we had at Jenna's - thank you to everyone who made it so special.Posted on Emma LVerified Book the Armadillo suite, you won't be disappointed! Totally worth the very brief venture outside town for the unbeatable view, you won't be disappointed! Be sure to wake up to watch the sunrise from your own private covered patio or even from your bed. I also suggest sitting out to watch the sunset over the mountains from their restaurant. During the night we were able to sit and enjoy the moon reflecting on the lake. The hotel has a wonderfully curated eclectic vibe. The complex is thoughtfully designed (but be prepared for some stairs - after all you're on the side of a mountain) and the gardens are immaculate. You feel as if your tucked amongst the forest in a private garden. The staff were incredibly helpful. They arranged our professional private transportation to and from Guatemala City and helped us arrange trusted tuk tuks into town. High speed wifi that's included enabled us to stream movies. Can't recommend the on site Syrian restaurant's tasting menu enough! Enjoy incredibly fresh and flavorful authentic Syrian food made with local ingredients for their covered restaurant patio that overlooks the lake. Get there early as they will sell out or make a reservation. We enjoyed the coffee that was available all day and the included breakfast.Posted on Dean BVerified Amazing!! What an amazing experience, great value and the view was fantastic. Stay in the Armadillo room if you can. Also do the dinner tasting menu for sure. Cant wait to go back! Easily located to get a tuk tuk into town and very helpful in arranging transport to and from Guatemala City or Antigua.Posted on 705sherrykVerified Beautiful location, incredible views, wonderful food and Staff!!! I first have to say that everyone there is so extra accommodating and wonderful, a better staff couldn't be found anywhere. When we arrived, I realized the error in my booking. I had asked for a lower yurt not realizing that the main road was at the top. Meaning that there would be more stairs to climb to get to where we could grab a tuk tuk into town. (Be aware there are a whole lot of stairs to get everywhere) We were lucky in that It was low season and they were very kind in that they were able to change us to another room that put us closer to the main road. At the end of a long day of taking launches to other areas of the lake that location was so much better for us. Of course the view of the lake from up there was stupendous.. I had been willing to give up that view being in a lower yurt until I got there and realized thing were opposite of what I imagined. Our room was small and cozy and with a great balcony overlooking the lake...our bed was very comfy and with enough blankets to warm us thru the night..it does get chilly at night! Great shower with plenty of hot water. Housekeeping gave fresh filtered water, and clean towels every day which was a nice treat.( So many places don't change towels these days). As other people have said in their posts... I agree that the rooms (or at least the one we were in) could use more hooks to hang things and even a small table or something in the bathroom because there was no place to put anything, even the towels. For two people with toiletries it's barely enough space. The included breakfast is more than ample and always delicious with fresh made plantains, eggs, fruit, beans and home made tortillas with coffee or tea... honestly, more than I could finish... but somehow I'm managed! They also have other menu items that can be ordered with a small fee. We had dinner in their restaurant each night we stayed and loved everything we had. The kitchen staff Gabriela and Yolanda are amazing cooks and everything is made to order. After a long day visiting other places on the lake it was relaxing to come back for dinner and be overlooking the lake. We found all the meals to be tasty, satisfying but above all incredibly creative in their preparation and unique flavors, we honestly ate everything on our plates each night. We didn't have a chance to use the pool because we were out most of the day when it was warm, by the time we got back it was a bit too cool out, but I'm sure it's very refreshing on a hot day. Thank you Mari, Antonio and Rob for making our stay so memorable and great... and of course to Gabriela and Yolanda for the super delicious meals. We loved staying at Jenna's and we would stay again in a heartbeat. It's a very special place and close enough to grab a tuk tuk and be in town in minutes. **2 Things to be aware of: -----10% Is added to the food bill for tips. We were unaware of this and tipped after every meal. We didn't get paper bills after the meals so we had no idea until we settled up at the end of our stay. So by the end, adding in that 10%...we were probably tipping 25 to 30% because we loved the service and the food so much. ---My own personal pet peeve: Breakfast is served from 8 AM to 11 AM which is a great window... but for an early riser who gets up around 6 AM.. having to wait those two hours for my 1st cup of coffee was a drag. We would count down the minutes until 8am and be the first ones there! The one suggestion I would make would be programming the coffeemaker to 7 AM, even if breakfast starts later. For those of us who need that early morning coffee fix it to wake up it would be a great addition. (I met another early riser guest there who took at 6.30am tuk tuk into town just to get that 1st cup of coffee) The last day we grabbed a cold brew from town the night before and sat on the balcony in the morning with that, just waiting for 8am:-) Again.. We loved our stay at Jenna's and highly recommend it!
