EXCELLENT Based on 285 reviews Hailey2025-11-1910Verified The staff were amazing. I felt like I was a guest at my families house. Everything we needed was made so easy. The hotel has a driver they use for their tuk-tuk rides so you do not have to pay an excessive amount. The drive is friendly and always made us feel safe being in a new place. We had gotten couple massages, which were relaxing and much needed after our hike. The hotel even helped us with transportation back to Guatemala City. Everyone we encountered was kind and welcoming. The staff really stood out to me. The rooms were cozy and clean. I will say that some spiders got in through the cracks, but that is to be expected due to the location. We had a fresh pitcher of water given to us each day. The food served at the hotel restaurant was good. I would stay at this hotel again and again. ☺Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities

We’re glad our tuk-tuk driver helped you explore comfortably and safely, and that you enjoyed the relaxing massages after your hike. It’s wonderful to know our staff, cozy rooms, and daily touches like the fresh pitcher of water added to your stay. We appreciate your understanding about the occasional spiders, they can be tricky to avoid in our natural surroundings, but we’re always working to minimize them. Thank you again for your kind words and for choosing to stay with us. We’d be honored to welcome you back again and again! steven2025-11-1710Verified Great spot! Taylor2025-11-0710Verified Such a beautiful spot! It is well worth being a little outside of town to have such a lovely place. And it is very easy and quick to get to the main streets of Panajachel and the docks from here - 10 mins or less and they have a Tuktuk driver you can text to come get you! ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities

From the incredibly friendly staff who made us feel instantly at home, to the delicious food, and the absolutely breathtaking views of the lake; this place is perfect. Highly recommend! Qi Yang2025-11-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This beautiful and unique hotel on the hillside in Panajachel is absolutely stunning. Stay here if you want to have a truly relaxing time on Lake Atitlan. The location is a little removed from the town but the friendly staff will call you a 5m tuk tuk whenever you need. They have a great happy hour around sunset time. You can also enjoy Syrian food on the menu. We went in November and the sunsets were gorgeous. The rooms are clean, spacious, come with their own balcony area, and definitely unique. I loved my stay here and would recommend it to anyone who is visiting the lake for the first time. Danielle Hou2025-11-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Visited the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. David Sterman2025-11-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had dinner there last night and it was truly sublime. Great views looking down on the lake, a fun cocktail bar and an extremely tasty and healthy dinner, in the restaurant, which has a range of dishes you won't find in most other places. (Our dinners were Mediterranean influenced). And the staff and the manager were all super-friendly. A bit if a schlep as you have to take tuk-tuks up and down the hill (to get those amazing views) but well worth it. kim2025-09-19Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Anna Bed and Breakfast was a beautiful place to stay outside of Panajechel. Federico, Yvan and the entire staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable!! Beautiful views!! Nice relaxing atmosphere! JB Park2025-09-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just a 5-minute tuktuk ride from both Panajachel and Santa Catarina Palopó, the location is super convenient yet tucked away in a quiet, peaceful area where you’ll truly find relaxation. I stayed in the Iguana room, which was great. It doesn’t have a fridge, but the restaurant and kitchen area downstairs can keep your items refrigerated if needed. Very practical! Although I didn’t get a chance to try the bar, I had dinner at the restaurant and was impressed—the Syrian dish was absolutely exquisite and paired perfectly with the wine I brought. (There’s a Q50 corkage fee, which I found very reasonable given the quality of the food and the priceless view). The property also has a traditional Mayan sauna, which I didn’t get to try this time but definitely will in the future. It’s all done in a traditional, manual way, so you need to arrange it in advance. I highly recommend guests take advantage of this unique and relaxing experience in nature. And finally, a big thank-you to Federico (Argentina), Andrea (Colombia), and Stephanie (Honduras)—such a warm, kind, and welcoming team. A lovely melting pot of hospitality! EXCELLENT Based on 544 reviews Robert W2025-10-09Verified Lake Atitlan – Comfort, Beauty, and Convenience The lodgings were extremely comfortable and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. It was like staying in a landscaped botanical garden. There are some stairways to maneuver between street level and the rooms, but the view is totally worth it. Easy walking distance to Panajachel and Santa Catarina Palopo, though there are many tuk-tuks or nice locals willing to give you a ride in the back of their pickup truck if you are not up for the walk. Great food on-site with all the local flavors, and some very unique cuisine with inspirations from the Middle East. Luis Hugo G2025-09-12Verified Must stay The service was great. I definitely recommend the stay here. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, they made the experience even better.

Muchas gracias por su reseña. Significa bastante para nosotros, y es un placer acomodarles y ayudarles a pasar una estadía espectacular. Muchas gracias! lesliegreen132025-07-31Verified Mini Getaway Jenna's B&B was an excellent place to stay! The views here of the lake and the volcanoes were so beautiful and the place truly felt like home. Our villa was comfortable and clean. We were provided with fresh linens and fresh water daily. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL! Yvan and Andrea really helped us get our plans organized and helped us get around to the different towns, making plans for us while we were there. They are both extremely communicative and friendly and without a doubt helped to maximize our experience. I don't know what I would have done without them! Norbert, who was a member of the staff as well was the sweetest and most accommodating. He went above and beyond for us during our stay. The food at Jenna's is also a 10/10. We had breakfast and dinner there during our stay and enjoyed the well flavored, delicious meals. When I return to Lake Atitlan I will definitely be looking forward to staying here again. Now that I am back home I am missing waking up to the breathtaking views while enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee on a chilly morning.

Saludos Yuliana N2025-07-08Verified Definitely recommend This place was amazing! Views, cleanliness, food, the breakfast that is included in the stay.. everything is great! All the staff are very kind. They even left us a vase of flowers in our room which I thought was a sweet gesture. Yvan was great at setting us up with transportation when we traveled to other towns that were further away and always answered our questions. Very safe place as well.

K P2025-06-19Verified Amazing stay We stayed at Jenna's bed and breakfast in June 2025. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. We stayed in one of the larger yurts as we had our daughter with us. There is no AC (as is true of most places we stayed), but we were there in June and felt plenty comfortable. (The mattresses are very firm as an FYI. Some people are more particular about that than others.) We loved the staff. Lari (and I may be spelling her name wrong) was fantastic. She arranged Tuk Tuks for us as needed. Ivan was also really helpful and super cool. We also utilized the pool and the sweat hut/sauna while there. The sauna was perfect after a dip in the crisp pool. Each room/yurt has a beautiful balcony view. We were there during the rainy season and enjoyed hanging out on the bar balcony, playing board games as a family, while it rained. Note: Jenna's is nestled into the hill/mountain and therefore has a lot of stairs up and down. If you have mobility issues or trouble with stairs, this is probably not where you want to stay. This is true for many places in Guatemala, however. The views everywhere are gorgeous, but you have to work for them. The food was fantastic. The included chapin breakfast included ample food (eggs, beans, fruit, plantains, tortillas, fresh juice) was perfect to sustain our days of activity. We also especially enjoyed the Syrian cuisine menu on Thursday night. It was absolutely delicious. I would recommend Jenna's to anyone looking to stay near Panajachel. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely return.

Our team will be thrilled to hear your shoutout! And we're happy you got to experience the sauna and pool too, great for the rainy season! Thanks again for recommending us, we’d love to welcome you back anytime! Jason S2025-06-17Verified One of the most unique and excellent hotels you'll ever stay at. I don't have enough good words to say about Jenna's River Bed and Breakfast or the incredible staff who work there. The view from Jenna's is unmatched. The rooms -- yurt-like things -- are very comfortable. The food... Let's talk about the food.... The hotel's restaurant serves Syrian food for dinner. I've had Syrian and Middle Eastern food many times before and this was by far the best. Everything was Michelin quality. Just perfect, beautiful, and tasty. The staff -- I ran into a few problems while I was in Panajachel and the staff leapt into action to help me. I left my iphone in a Tuk Tuk. (Tuk Tuks are the lawn-mower-engine powered three-wheelers which pose for taxis in Guatemala.) Staff immediately drove me downtown where I quite luckily found the very Tuk Tuk (among hundreds) with my phone. I am forever in their debt. One note: Jenna's is built into a very steep hill leading down to Lake Atitlan and stairs are necessary to get from your room to the bar to the dining area to the street. If you don't like or can't do stairs, Jenna's is not for you. I liked the stairs, so it worked for me. Thanks Jenna's for the excellent stay!

It means the world to us to hear that you enjoyed the food, the views, and your yurt, and that our team could help you out when you needed it most!!We hope to welcome you back to Jenna’s one day. You’ll always have a place here.Warmly,Yvan & the whole Jenna’s team 705sherryk2025-05-31Verified Beautiful location, incredible views, wonderful food and Staff!!! I first have to say that everyone there is so extra accommodating and wonderful, a better staff couldn't be found anywhere. When we arrived, I realized the error in my booking. I had asked for a lower yurt not realizing that the main road was at the top. Meaning that there would be more stairs to climb to get to where we could grab a tuk tuk into town. (Be aware there are a whole lot of stairs to get everywhere) We were lucky in that It was low season and they were very kind in that they were able to change us to another room that put us closer to the main road. At the end of a long day of taking launches to other areas of the lake that location was so much better for us. Of course the view of the lake from up there was stupendous.. I had been willing to give up that view being in a lower yurt until I got there and realized thing were opposite of what I imagined. Our room was small and cozy and with a great balcony overlooking the lake...our bed was very comfy and with enough blankets to warm us thru the night..it does get chilly at night! Great shower with plenty of hot water. Housekeeping gave fresh filtered water, and clean towels every day which was a nice treat.( So many places don't change towels these days). As other people have said in their posts... I agree that the rooms (or at least the one we were in) could use more hooks to hang things and even a small table or something in the bathroom because there was no place to put anything, even the towels. For two people with toiletries it's barely enough space. The included breakfast is more than ample and always delicious with fresh made plantains, eggs, fruit, beans and home made tortillas with coffee or tea... honestly, more than I could finish... but somehow I'm managed! They also have other menu items that can be ordered with a small fee. We had dinner in their restaurant each night we stayed and loved everything we had. The kitchen staff Gabriela and Yolanda are amazing cooks and everything is made to order. After a long day visiting other places on the lake it was relaxing to come back for dinner and be overlooking the lake. We found all the meals to be tasty, satisfying but above all incredibly creative in their preparation and unique flavors, we honestly ate everything on our plates each night. We didn't have a chance to use the pool because we were out most of the day when it was warm, by the time we got back it was a bit too cool out, but I'm sure it's very refreshing on a hot day. Thank you Mari, Antonio and Rob for making our stay so memorable and great... and of course to Gabriela and Yolanda for the super delicious meals. We loved staying at Jenna's and we would stay again in a heartbeat. It's a very special place and close enough to grab a tuk tuk and be in town in minutes. **2 Things to be aware of: -----10% Is added to the food bill for tips. We were unaware of this and tipped after every meal. We didn't get paper bills after the meals so we had no idea until we settled up at the end of our stay. So by the end, adding in that 10%...we were probably tipping 25 to 30% because we loved the service and the food so much. ---My own personal pet peeve: Breakfast is served from 8 AM to 11 AM which is a great window... but for an early riser who gets up around 6 AM.. having to wait those two hours for my 1st cup of coffee was a drag. We would count down the minutes until 8am and be the first ones there! The one suggestion I would make would be programming the coffeemaker to 7 AM, even if breakfast starts later. For those of us who need that early morning coffee fix it to wake up it would be a great addition. (I met another early riser guest there who took at 6.30am tuk tuk into town just to get that 1st cup of coffee) The last day we grabbed a cold brew from town the night before and sat on the balcony in the morning with that, just waiting for 8am:-) Again.. We loved our stay at Jenna's and highly recommend it!

Courteous and helpful staff, very responsive to our needs, excellent restaurant with breakfast included. Views are incredible and very serene. Tuktuks into town are available. Be aware there is no AC although I didn't find it to be so hot. This is a marvelous gem which made my stay at the lake so much better, definitely my favorite place that I stayed at in Guatemala.
