EXCELLENT Based on 438 reviews Posted on Expedia Gregory10Verified Jenna's River has a lot of things going for it. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. They were able to help with arranging transportation and tours in the area - just email them for information. They arranged a private boat for the day and an English tuk tuk tour to Santa Catarina which was very good. Their tuk tuk driver was always available to take us to Panajachel town (and it was easy to get another one off the street to take us back, which was not a problem). The room was very large and the beds were comfortable. It was clean as well. There was plenty of space for storing all your stuff. The view from the private porch was amazing. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. Breakfast was included and had plenty of choices available on top of the set menu. There is a nice bar area with drinks for during the day or before dinner. There are some dogs that bark during the night that made it hard to get to sleep one night, but I suspect that may be common for most of Lake Atitlan area. The biggest note is maybe that the bathroom area was not very private in our room (a large yurt with 2 bedrooms with one bedroom having the only bathroom ensuite). The swinging doors were textured glass that were quite see through with the lights on and every noise could be heard. This may not be to everyone's liking and something to be aware of - I don't know if every room is like this. ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilitiesPosted on Expedia Alma10Verified Great hotel, people very friendly and helpful. I will come back again. ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilitiesPosted on Expedia Ramon J10Verified My room had amazing views. Breakfast was great, and we were super close to the cities. ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilitiesPosted on Expedia August10Verified Gorgeous stay, fabulous food, lovely pool and view. ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilitiesPosted on Expedia Benjamin10Verified Honestly I couldn’t recommend this place enough… Its a beautiful little spot 10 minutes from downtown Panajachel by tuktuk (which are very easy to book with Jenna’s B&B). Being that its not downtown its nice and quiet, you get to take in and truly enjoy the view of Lake Atitlan all while being close enough for daily activities. The Syrian food at the restaurant was astounding, it was the best meal we had on our entire trip. Rooms are clean and cozy, staff was wonderful, need I say more… Note: you will have an amazing view of the lake but there is no access to the lake from the B&B. ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilitiesPosted on Expedia Prashanth10Verified Quaint spot ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
EXCELLENT Based on 208 reviews Posted on Google Ramon GTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our stay was amazing! The views were breathtaking. Breakfast was awesome and so was dinner! We stayed in a yurt so we could hear everything. Maybe bring some ear plugs... Lino was our TUK TUK driver and made it really convenient to get to where we needed to.Posted on Google Andrew TTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just to be clear we did not stay there but ate at the restaurant. It was absolutely fantastic. We all had the 8 course meal and every course was delicious. Incredible experience. The staff was amazing, professional, friendly, respectful and attentive! They were the best part of my stayed... great bartender Alejandra is known in the whole town, Fernando worked the bar and restaurant and he was amazimg too, the food was delicious (THEY MAKE EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH INCLUDING KETCHUP AND SYRUP FROM SCRATCH). Location was stunning, this view is incredible! The rooms are cozy besides the bugs (I am scary lol, plus the place its up at the mountains) they are no complaints, but I feel like maybe a little bathroom upgrade would do the place good. I recommend!Posted on Google Isslam KTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If I could give 7 stars, I would. Jenna's River B&B exceeded every expectation. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're warmly greeted by the bellman who takes care of your bags, all while being treated to a breathtaking view of the lake. Check-in was seamless — we had everything we needed and were quickly settled into our beautiful room. The service here is truly exceptional. When my girlfriend wasn't feeling well, the staff didn't hesitate to help source what she needed from a nearby pharmacy. That kind of care and attentiveness is rare and didn't go unnoticed. Lino, the tuk tuk driver who handles transport for the B&B, was an absolute gem. He kept in constant communication for every pick-up and even waited patiently when I wanted to head into town for food. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast and dinner were both fantastic. Fernando, our dinner server, was friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English — a great bonus. That said, every single staff member, from reception to security, brought the same warmth and professionalism throughout our stay. We're already wishing we had booked longer, but one thing's for certain — we'll be back.Posted on Google ImeldaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed in the Iguana Room and it was absolutely beautiful. The views, customer service, and overall vibe of the place were unforgettable. Waking up to the lake and watching the sunset made it truly special. This is a must-stay location. Posted on Google Liam mTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The views are unmatched from the rooms and everyone was so friendly. The girl who runs the front desk was kind, informative, and had great recommendations. We got 2 massages and they were about 100 USD total and they were amazing. Breakfast is included, but dinner is not. You have to catch a ride from the hotel to the city each time you leave because it’s a bit far out there, but they have a tuctuc driver whose number you get to request a ride anytime which was great! It is definitely a quiet, serene place to stay, but not super convenient if you’re more into going out at night. Overall, awesome experience! Would definitely recommend.Posted on Google Sophia PTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. One of my favorite stays during my time in Guatemala! Not in the heart of Panajachel, which I personally appreciated - the quieter environment with Lake views was serene and relaxing. The property itself is beautiful and has so much character and charm. I loved winding down on my patio deck and just reading, enjoying the fresh air and views. I definitely felt safe as the B&B is gated. I also booked a deep tissue massage which was affordable and relaxing! I only had to walk down about 2 flights of stairs to reach my room, but heads up if you are booking a room that requires additional descent - however they do offer assistance in helping carrying luggage up/down!Posted on Google Karen KTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Couldn’t have had a better stay in Panajachel. This B&B was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped me set up tours and transfers before I even arrived onsite. I stayed in the Quetzal Yurt. It was spacious and clean. This yurt has the best views by far. There are two large patios on two different levels. WiFi was fast. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and there were many choices in addition to the standard breakfast which is included. We had dinner at Al Jouri restaurant which is prepared by a different chef than the women who prepare breakfast. The dinner was amazing and very reasonably priced. I also had a 90 minute massage which was fantastic. There are two adorable cats on site. Samson and Delilah. Delilah is the friendlier of the two. She is just adorable. The B&B is a short tuk tuk from shopping, restaurants and many attractions. Very easy to take the boats to other areas. The housekeeping staff cleaned the room everyday. We had our laundry washed and it was clean and folded in the same day.
EXCELLENT Based on 556 reviews Posted on Tripadvisor Wanderer35744635986Verified Jenna’s was the best!! We had the best time here! Everything about Jenna’s was great. The property was clean with lots of amenities like a pool, bar, and, and spa. Each room had a gorgeous view of the lake with a private balcony. The breakfasts were also very good, and even if you aren’t staying here, I highly recommend coming here to eat at the attached restaurant, Al Jouri Kitchen. I also need to mention how easy it was to coordinate activities, tuktuk rides, and a shuttle to the airport through Jenna’s. Jenna’s really went above and beyond to make sure that all the logistics of our vacation were taken care of.

The staff is so kind and helpful. The property is beautiful! The front desk coordinated paragliding for me and they give you a tuktuk driver you can use - Linc- and he is the BEST! The property is a little out of town but Linc will come get you quickly. And the views!!! I would stay here again.

My yurt was rustic and charming with a large balcony. Enjoying the balcony in the evening was one of the highlights of my visit to Guatemala! Love the restaurant as well. The management staff really care about making the visit flawless.

We had an amazing stay and could not have asked for a better experience. The views of Lake Atitlán and the surrounding volcanoes are absolutely breathtaking. Perched on a hill, the hotel offers a peaceful, immersive setting where you can truly enjoy the area’s natural beauty, wildlife, and resources. Waking up to these views and the sounds of nature was unforgettable. This is a must-try destination for anyone seeking tranquility, stunning scenery, and a unique connection with nature. Highly recommended.Posted on Tripadvisor José miguel SVerified Restaurant muy , muy bien Excelente cocina siria ! Nos fascinó ! Falafell y otros platos muy bien preparados, muy atenta atención del personal, July especialPosted on Tripadvisor Relax52272796201Verified Amazing B&B With the Best Restaurant! Jenna's River B&B is a unique stay with a wonderful view! Each of the yurts is comfortable and "stacked" against the land leading down to the sea. There is also a little gem of a restaurant attached to the wonderful Jenna's River B&B. The chef is a magician. I was here for a pre-wedding Happy Hour and the next day for the wedding and dinner afterwards. The star of the Happy Hour was the fried shrimp. They were crisp and flavorful and served with the best spicy dip! The wedding meal was grand by any standard; everything was delicious, and the portions were huge. The staff was gracious and friendly, so attentive and enthusiastic. It felt more like being at someone's house than a restaurant. Short ribs, hummus, fish, salad, so many tasty dishes! The desert, and the wedding cake, was the best Dolce de Leche cake I have ever tasted. Bravo to the chef and Al Jouri Restaurant. It's worth the tuk-tuk ride there, but you won't want to leave!Posted on Tripadvisor Sasha RVerified Gorgeous Getaway I planned a trip for my mom and I to Guatemala, it had always been a place I wanted to visit. When we arrived at Lake Atitlan we got a tuktuk to Jenna's, their What's App communication was SO HELPFUL. This boutique hotel is exactly the place you want to stay for views, food, and relaxation during your visit to Lake Atitlan. After visiting many of the towns around the lake and spending afternoons wandering through Panajachel, no other accommodation can compare. Unlimited coffee in the morning for my early-rising mom, Lino the tuktuk tour guide, and the most gorgeous view of the lake made this a trip to remember. Thank you Jenna's!Posted on Tripadvisor SusanD326Verified Unforgettable stay in beautiful Lake Atitlan We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jenna's for a family wedding. It is a beautiful setting, very comfortable, and has an amazing on-site restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a terrific time - both Adriana and Adrina managed transport, booked massages, offered an unforgettable yoga class and were just exemplary overall. Yvan coordinated all of the details and managed many moving parts. Johnny and Allie at the bar took great care of everyone and made terrific cocktails. Norbert continued to delight us with delicious food (best fattoush I've ever had!). We had a group of 19 show up late one evening during our stay, and the kitchen staff rose to the challenge - Johnny took care of everyone - and the women in the kitchen worked late to make sure that we were well-fed. They were back early the next morning to prepare our breakfast - thank you to Lizeth, Aura, Danira, Gaby, Yolanda and Lizeth for feeding us so well over many days! We will never forget the time we had at Jenna's - thank you to everyone who made it so special.Posted on Tripadvisor Emma LVerified Book the Armadillo suite, you won't be disappointed! Totally worth the very brief venture outside town for the unbeatable view, you won't be disappointed! Be sure to wake up to watch the sunrise from your own private covered patio or even from your bed. I also suggest sitting out to watch the sunset over the mountains from their restaurant. During the night we were able to sit and enjoy the moon reflecting on the lake. The hotel has a wonderfully curated eclectic vibe. The complex is thoughtfully designed (but be prepared for some stairs - after all you're on the side of a mountain) and the gardens are immaculate. You feel as if your tucked amongst the forest in a private garden. The staff were incredibly helpful. They arranged our professional private transportation to and from Guatemala City and helped us arrange trusted tuk tuks into town. High speed wifi that's included enabled us to stream movies. Can't recommend the on site Syrian restaurant's tasting menu enough! Enjoy incredibly fresh and flavorful authentic Syrian food made with local ingredients for their covered restaurant patio that overlooks the lake. Get there early as they will sell out or make a reservation. We enjoyed the coffee that was available all day and the included breakfast.
